Beautiful office building. The most beautiful offices in the world. Radio station "Silver Rain"

There is always a way out, it’s 100%. It's just not necessarily the way you see it. It makes sense for you to look at the situation from the outside or rise higher above the clouds and look at it all from above. No emotions - just options. Take this situation away from yourself and imagine that this situation is someone else’s. Here are another man and woman, and they have the same situation.

Imagine that you are watching a movie. We love, when the series is on, to say: “No need, where are you going... Why are you with him again? Yes, he’s like that again, go over there.” We try to decide everything for the heroes, to advise them on the best option. So you advise this woman (yourself) what to do.

Imagine this is a series. Tell me what you think would be the right thing to do and what options there are. Is there an option to go to another country, to live with your parents? Why is this an obstacle for you? Changing your place of residence is interesting. There may be another man there. You can shake yourself up, change, change your life altogether.

An example from personal life

I'm actually from Ulyanovsk. I studied there. She got divorced there. And I can’t wrap my head around divorcing my husband and living in the same apartment with him. This is not for me. I didn’t even have this in my thoughts, I just got divorced and left right away. Moved, exchanged. That's it... Well, let's say, already in the process I decided that I was moving to live in Moscow.

I'm going there to earn money and look for work. Because I had just defended my dissertation and needed a job. The parents resisted very strongly at that time, and their daughter was only one and a half years old. They told me: “We won’t go with you, you won’t be able to go there.”

But I decided that I would go there anyway, life changes - that means it needs to be changed. It's easier to do this now. When some changes happen in life, it’s easier to change everything else to the heap. Here I am in Moscow, 2003. From now on I am in Moscow. In the first year, I managed to sell what I had in Ulyanovsk. We bought an apartment here.

That is, the parents arrived, the granddaughter and all that. And there were no other options for me, I didn’t think: “How will I live in Moscow?” Everyone lives, so I will live. There are problems that I solve that I try to look at positively. If I constantly think negatively, then, in general, life will turn out that way. This is also a definite scenario.

The situations can be very different. Someone has this: “I have a daughter, but I can’t change the apartment: my ex doesn’t give consent. I can only move to a new man.” But even here there are ways out. You can separate housing through the court. Once you separate your property through the court, you are assigned a certain number of square meters, and you can do whatever you want with them. You can sell them. Officially, the court will assign a certain number of rooms to you, and you can either sell them or change them. There are always options.

And even to the phrase “This is not profitable. “I won’t buy anything with this money,” one might object. What does "don't buy" mean? Finally, buy yourself a house outside the city. You need to find out, do something, watch and estimate. Not in this city, in another. And here the reluctance to do anything is clearly visible. If you do not see other options, then you will have exactly the option that you ordered for yourself. You can suffer like this for the rest of your life. It's sad, but that's how it is. Until you yourself want to change something in your life, you will always have various excuses: it’s not profitable, I won’t buy anything, I won’t succeed, or some other nonsense. If you wanted something and it didn’t happen, it means you didn’t really want it.

How do you cope with difficult situations?

Owner of the Workstation coworking space and Komnata design studio

“In this place in the garden there used to be the ruins of a burnt ballet school - Gorky Park removed them, cleaned everything and put up a standard wooden pavilion. Coworking is aimed at allowing people to communicate with each other, so we didn’t divide it into parts at all (only the meeting room is separated), we installed tables two meters long so that four people could sit at once, and there were huge windows outside the window forest, beautiful view, natural light. All the furniture is wooden - the tables, for example, we put together ourselves. We wanted the coworking space to be as different as possible from an office building - that’s why, for example, our chairs are not office chairs, but wicker, garden chairs. We spent the most money on equipment, ventilation and glass - we paid about two million rubles for them. The coworking space works equally well in both winter and summer - there is both heating and ventilation - it’s just that during the warm season there is also a lecture hall on the street - with sockets and Wi-Fi.”

“The task was to create an exhibition space, but from the very beginning it was assumed that it should be flexible. As a result, we came up with this nesting doll: a black box on legs was inserted inside a large space and we got three platforms at once - the main one on the lower level, a chamber room inside the box, which later became known as a cube, and a terrace on the roof. The idea is that this three-level structure can host different events at the same time: for example, an exhibition downstairs, a lecture on the second level and a buffet on the terrace. This opens up unusual opportunities for those who will organize events there. We used exclusively cheap materials: sheets of metal mesh, which cost a penny, but thanks to which we get interesting effect, behind this mesh they hid lamps - also the cheapest ones; for the first time they tried to use cement-bonded particle board as a finishing material. The difficulties we encountered are common when working with a dilapidated structure: the workshop is in ruins, cracks in the walls. But working with industrial buildings is exciting and interesting; they have a characteristic romance and provoke bold decisions. I’m sure they are the future.”

General Director of the architectural bureau Line Architects

“There are two partner companies in this office - PGP, which deals with commercial real estate and retail, and MLP, which occupies a leading position in the warehouse real estate market. Despite the fact that their activities may sound boring, there is a spirit and microclimate within the company that we felt from the very beginning. The building is unique, historical, and we wanted to emphasize this in the interior: for example, where we lacked existing brick, we added it - we dismantled an old house in the Smolensk region, brought from there authentic brick with 19th-century stamps and made additional partitions. We completely preserved the structure of the wooden beams and even strengthened them - restored and painted them grey colour. There are also interesting floral solutions that have not yet been implemented, because we have just commissioned the office: greenery is needed to soften the brutality of the space - the company’s partners are men, and the interior turned out to be masculine and ascetic. In this building before we took over it, there was quite for a long time There was a famous Moscow restaurant “White Square”. We decided to leave some things from him - for example, the bar in the representative part. From the bar there is an exit to the courtyard - a unique thing for an office in the center of Moscow. In general, we treat this project with trepidation, because designing an office in a historical building is, of course, much more interesting than in a new one.”

“K.S.Büro and I are not formally connected in any way, we just have a very good personal relationship, and when we needed an office and they needed a showroom, we decided to cut each other’s expenses: we didn’t spend money on furniture (they supplied it), but they They didn’t spend money on architects and extra space - and show their furniture to clients right in the office: look, people are sitting behind it, working. The office turned out to be bright, large (despite the fact that it occupies only 500 meters), there is a lot of air there, and not only because it is an attic, but also because of the good layout. Room rectangular shape, we placed all meeting and public areas in the middle, immediately dividing the remaining space into two large open spaces - the K.S.Büro zone and the T+T Architect zone. There are very few offices as such, they are mostly open spaces, and the divisions, if there are any, are made of glass - they don’t seem to be solid, but there is already a psychological barrier. The glass had to be covered somehow, but at the same time it would not be a dull matting: we took the fabulous drawings of the Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi and decorated the glass planes with them. Our main pride is the media platform at the end of the office with a podium auditorium, a large window, and a bar area where you can chat and drink something strong. In general, we wanted to make sure that people don’t run away from work when they call at seven o’clock, but so that they want to stay, communicate with colleagues, so that the office becomes part of everyday life. We are also opening the season now: some of the jobs have been moved to the roof.”

Architect bureau Megabudka

“The company is the main dealer of Scandinavian interior items - furniture, lighting, etc. The difficulty was that we had to create both an office and a showroom: that is, something bright that would attract attention and at the same time make it convenient for people to work there. We solved the problem this way: we brought into the center of the space a volumetric art installation made of cubes, each of which is a separate space: the director’s office, the administrator’s office, a meeting room, a showcase. People can see how the furniture DK Project sells can be used in real time. It turned out very interesting: the space draws you in when you get into it. Another difficulty was related to engineering: there is no such thing as air conditioners hanging somewhere above, everything is built in and nothing sticks out. The materials are economical: a metal frame covered with wood on top, insulation inside - nothing fancy. Everything about the light is interesting - it is controlled from an iPad, although, of course, there are also regular switches. Each cube has two facades: one faces the street, the other faces the interior. First - white, the second is in color. At first we wanted to cover the cubes with old wood so that they would feel like they had been standing for a long, long time, but it turned out that purposefully finding old boards is a whole story, so we figured out how to paint them so that they look aged. In general, this project is similar to our others: for example, we have a playground project where a child can run endlessly and get confused all the time. Here we also wanted to make an interesting climbing frame, so that it would be confusing and cool.”

“We were looking for an industrial building, choosing between Red October, Artplay, Flacon, but in the end we chose the Plastic plant on Berezhkovskaya embankment. It is in a convenient location, quite quiet - everything is ideal for free creative people. The architecture of the room seemed so beautiful to us that we decided not to make any partitions and preserve the atmosphere of the loft space. There is a lot of daylight, air, bright details against the background of light walls: a reception desk made of colored plumbing pipes, concrete sinks, a multi-colored OSB staircase, vintage light. Finding our site on the territory of the plant is not easy (there is no elevator - only up to the fifth floor, and then on foot), but we believe that this is compensated by the wonderful creative atmosphere. In general, compared to other coworking spaces, ours is closer to a club: it turns out that mostly graduates of the same decor school where we studied come to us.”

“The company’s offices are scattered all over the world: the client center, for example, is located in Costa Rica, and the IT office, which develops corporate software, is located in Moscow. The office occupies a separate three-story building at the Danilovskaya Manufactory; according to the concept, it should have been suitable for work requiring concentration. At the same time, the customer wanted a significant part of the office to be dedicated to public needs, which is what we did: on the top two floors there are large coffee points of 45-50 meters, on each floor there are about five so-called think-tanks, that is rooms for individual work, a relaxation room with a real wood-burning fireplace, and meeting rooms for teaching foreign languages to employees. On the ground floor there is a large conference room with panoramic glazing in the transition from one building to another (it is used, for example, as a music studio and corporate events are held), a dining room from which there is access to an open terrace, and there is a barbecue, barbecue and at the same time a smoking room is a rare thing in a business center. There is also a chill-out area where you can lie on pillows and a gym with exercise equipment, a ping-pong table and a sauna. We emphasized the elements of the old building: we partially restored the original brickwork (we held a tender to select bricks with a similar structure and found a very similar one from a regional manufacturer), and welded additional decorative elements onto the cast-iron columns, emphasizing the historical component of the building.”

“Most of the office space at Vivaldi Plaza is occupied by the Otkritie Corporation, and we roughly understood the level of the employees, although the customers themselves also conducted research. The customer himself chose the Scandinavian direction, because the interiors of these countries do not irritate anyone. The materials are generally quite economical - for example, inexpensive porcelain tiles on the floor. The only thing we have seriously invested in is furniture - the iconic chairs of the Swiss company Vitra, which are in many dining rooms and restaurants throughout Europe. The main shades are natural: wood, white walls, gray floors, the only bright accent is those same red chairs. This doesn’t blur your eyes: you can immediately see where your colleague is sitting, who came earlier and took a seat. During rush hour, up to 2,000 people can pass through the dining room, largely because it is not the waiter who puts the food there, but people themselves take the dishes already laid out on plates. We spent five years designing Correa's restaurants and their Cantina business class canteens, and I want to say that people only two or three years ago began to understand what business dining is: when you can eat and work in the canteen, no smells will disturb you , and will also make pizza and pasta in seven minutes. After all, in general idea the dining room is like this: you come in, you smell it, you leave, you get poisoned, or maybe not. And a good dining room is like coming to Respublika and quickly buying the right moleskine, rather than looking for it in the racks of the Moscow store.

“We used to have a luxurious office on 1905 Street, but we outgrew it in size and also dreamed of a space with high ceilings - so that there would be room for creativity. Just as it is difficult to surprise hairdressers with a new haircut, it is also difficult to surprise us with a design. Therefore, we immediately decided to focus on comfort rather than on external attributes. Initially it was a metalworking shop. When we arrived, we saw a dilapidated room without windows, floors, with a cracked foundation and a leaking roof. We immediately had the idea to preserve the industrial spirit. To do this, we left the metal structures, painted the walls with white paint and used concrete coating on the floors. The result was a game of contrasts: deliberately rough metal structures combined with light modern furniture and designer lighting. On the walls we used vinyl magnetic coating, which is easy to attach drawings to, and on the ceilings of offices and meeting rooms we used environmentally friendly pressed straw, which absorbs sound well and prevents it from spreading. For the facade, we used a polymer coating on a metal frame with a special pattern, the elements of which correspond to the number of projects created by the bureau to date. Plus, the façade acts as a curtain and does not interfere with people’s work at computers—the sun does not glare. When it gets warmer, we will open a summer veranda, where we plan to place a cinema and a bar.”

“Our project can be called “French attic in Russian realities.” Francois Mansart began using rooms under a sloping roof for domestic purposes 400 years ago; the next evolutionary step of the attic is a loft, and a loft is always art. When we were arranging our loft space, we developed a method for ourselves called “moderate aestheticization of the utilitarian”: we took simple things, transformed them in every possible way and got art objects. For example, a pictogram with shoes and holes worn on the floor instead of a “Wipe your feet” rug, chair backs instead of ordinary hangers, because when we hang a jacket on the back of a chair, the seat is really not needed. We used furniture from Ikea, but at the same time tried to change it: combine it with something, repaint it, transform it. The huge lamps are industrial, we brought them from Austria. We also deliberately exposed the brick wall by removing the drywall - we are sitting in a historical building, albeit rebuilt, and this is the very case when the exterior determines the interior. Everyone who comes to us says that our office is more like an apartment, and it’s clear why: the space in which the company operates is a reflection of its activities. The architecture of the bank should be tectonic, talk about stability, and the designers in their office should show all the ideas they are capable of. Honestly, we don’t even have anything to criticize ourselves for in this project.”

“Since several companies were supposed to unite in this office, the main ideological task was to make sure that they all became friends. Therefore, for example, a floor in a small building where everyone goes to eat, we made it so that you could get there not by the shortest route, but only by somehow mixing with other people. We made the place where everyone communicates, where lectures take place, not on some middle floor, but on the roof - designers, for example, go there through the gallery and through the editorial office. Since there are several companies and they are engaged in different businesses, it was necessary to bring them as close as possible to the conditions in which they are comfortable working. For example, the editorial office sits in an open space with large windows, because, in our opinion, journalists write better when they look out the window, while programmers, on the contrary, look at monitors, so they sit in a room where there are only windows on the roof. If we talk about the interior, I wanted to create such a wonderful country, maybe a little detached from life, a little exaggerated and different: the editorial staff sits in a communal apartment and goes to the communal kitchen, the designers are in a museum, and the office is just in an office. Bright colors, colored windows, it all mixes and sparkles. We initially wanted to make the Rambler floor more abstract: mathematicians work there, and we proposed putting cold white cubes in the center, but the management liked all the other warm and joyful floors so much that in the end we created an atmosphere of the deck and the sea there. The materials are the cheapest: concrete floor, glass on which the most inexpensive colored film is glued, Russian herringbone parquet. To be honest, we are used to doing interiors like this: even advertising agencies leading big brands like Marlboro and Wrigley’s have small budgets.”

The author of the project is Yana Popova. The idea is for the workspace to quickly become a club because the agency often hosts parties. Wooden tables make up a stage. You can work and dance on the roof. The graffiti on the wall was made by Stepan Krasnov.

OFFICE AS A GAME

Work for employees of such organizations is like a sport, like a game for money that they receive on salary cards. The interior there stimulates the creativity of employees, the courage of decisions, their variability, the dynamics and youth of spirit of all those present. And this is not infantilism, but a cunning calculation. Their game is contagious - it is through the interior of the office that they make it clear to the client that they are playing with him on the same team and on the same field. The customer wins, and the business also wins. Everyone is having fun, and if anyone is bad at creativity, they fire him.

OFFICE AS HOME

Remote access is an ideal form of work for office employees, and even more so for their boss. Thanks to today's technology, this is not a problem. If it were possible, the boss would not leave the house at all. But there are still employees (and there are too many of them to allow them into your apartment). At one time, the director dreamed of having a house like the headquarters of Bottega Veneta in Venice or Diana von Furstenberg in New York (shop on the ground floor, living space and office above). There is no need to go anywhere, there is no need to waste time. But what to do with employees? There are too many of them. The result of the ordeal is these offices. They are a stylistic extension of the boss’s house. And the atmosphere here is the same. Even his dog doesn't notice the difference.
