Design ideas for school stands for Russian language and history classrooms

The information board is a great help for the learning process. You can decorate your stand with a thematic design, which is selected by the designer to match the design of the office - the color of the walls, furniture, and other interior components. As training progresses, auxiliary materials are added to the pockets to consolidate knowledge on the topic of the lesson.

You can announce the proposed information both on the sheets themselves, and by grouping the pockets in advance and by topic, with inscriptions for each of them. Look at the photo for an example of this design for the history room.

Design of illuminated stands at school and materials for them

School today is a flow of information, both for students and for their fathers and mothers. It is important that this flow is clearly and correctly structured and achieves its main goal - bringing information to the attention of schoolchildren and their parents. An excellent assistant in this matter is a stand, which must meet very specific requirements: include large amounts of information, look relevant, attract attention, and be perceived at the proper level. It is recommended to divide the entire flow of school information, for example:

  • My country
  • History of our school
  • School today

In the “My Country” section of the board It is recommended to place a portrait of the President, a flag, the national anthem, information about achievements, both historical and modern. For example, a leaflet about the first flight into space with a picture of Yu.A. Gagarin. Or the achievements of Russian athletes in the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. This is clear and necessary for instilling patriotism in schoolchildren.

In "History of our school" It is necessary to post the most interesting and significant events, preferably with photographs. For example, write colorfully and heartfeltly about the school during the Great Patriotic War with a photo report of students who participated in the events and student veterans.

Section "School Today" must necessarily contain regulatory documents - Charter, Regulations of the educational institution “On the rules of admission to school.” Regulations: “On checking notebooks”, “On the assessment system”, “On the procedure, forms and frequency of intermediate certification”, “On the provision of additional paid educational services”. Also, the school’s operating hours, school-based clubs for the school year, information about the teaching staff, possibly with photographs of teachers, gratitude and certificates to students, class, teacher and parents.

Schools strive for respectability, and they succeed. Therefore, a school information corner with LED lighting will not only fit perfectly into the design of a modern secondary educational institution, but will also add solidity to the interior. It should also be noted that there is a three-dimensional frame, a composite panel (instead of a heavy metal or wooden one), full-color printing with the image of school attributes, A4 PET pockets, which are universal and convenient for placing information, different locations on the board surface - landscape and portrait. You can't pass by such a design.

In this article we will look at the topic of how to make a stand for school with your own hands. Now in every school, in any educational institution there are information stands on which various information is posted - schedules, announcements, information about fire safety, diplomas, certificates, and much, much more. But not all institutions can afford to order an information stand from advertising companies. What to do in this case? There is a solution - you can make stands for the school with your own hands. Don’t be alarmed, you won’t need expensive materials and tools, the main thing is a creative approach, a little patience, time and, perhaps, the help of others to generate ideas, and together it’s always more fun. When decorating stands with your own hands, do not try to follow clear canons, make them standard, because in the modern world they like to look at beautiful pictures and photographs more than read large texts, do not be afraid to add a little creativity, but the main thing is not to overdo it.

Where to begin

Let's look at how to decorate a stand for a school with your own hands, what materials you can use, what you can do and where to even start.

  1. The purpose of creating a stand is what information it will carry, what it will be? A school schedule, an information stand with announcements, maybe it’s an honor board with certificates of distinguished students, a colorful stand telling about your institution, or it will be DIY stands for an elementary school.
  2. Size, shape and location. You need to determine where you want to place the stand, what shape you want to make it and decide on the dimensions based on the collected data.
  3. Materials used. Next, we think about what materials you will use to “assemble” the stand. It is necessary that the materials are easily accessible, not necessarily expensive, and most importantly, do not harm the health of children and the environment. Basically, they take as a basis a 3-5 mm PVC sheet, which can be purchased without problems at any hardware store; if desired, you can use cork sheets, chipboard, polypropylene, etc. To fill you will need paint, glue, paper, stickers, cut out or printed pictures, self-adhesive film with an image, wallpaper will do, in general, whatever your heart desires.
  4. The most creative stage is assembling all the parts into a single stand. It is advisable at the very beginning, when ideas were generated, to make a rough sketch of the finished stand, so that at this stage it would be easier and faster to assemble.

DIY information stands for school

Now I will tell you how to make an original stand for a school with your own hands and how to decorate a stand for a school with your own hands without a lot of expense. Let's call our stand “The best moments in school life.” Let's take a 3 mm PVC sheet as a basis; this is a very light material that holds its shape well, is convenient when working with acrylic paints, can be cut with an ordinary stationery knife, and is not at all harmful to people and the environment. To fill the stand you will need photographs from various events in which students or teachers of the school participated, acrylic paints, a regular dishwashing sponge for applying paint, colored self-adhesive film, corners for photographs that are used in photo albums. We cut the PVC into the shape of a large tablet, such as an iPad. We paint the base with acrylic using a sponge; this way the paint adheres better and an unusual texture is obtained. We insert photos into the corners, simulating icons on a tablet; the captions under the photos can be printed on a regular printer to the size of the photo. Cut thin strips of self-adhesive film and stick around the photo to visually highlight them. The name of the stand can be made from three-dimensional letters cut from leftover PVC, an applique made from self-adhesive or colored paper, or simply bought ready-made letters. That's all, you can hang it on the wall.

DIY themed stands for school

Based on the steps described above on how to make a stand for a school with your own hands, you now understand that it is not at all expensive and anyone can cope with this task without any problems. As mentioned earlier, now the main thing is visual design, without a lot of text, do not forget to take this into account when creating a stand.

If decorating stands for a school with your own hands is not at all your thing, you don’t have time for it and there are no people who can do it, then you can contact us. We will help you create an original stand, taking into account your wishes and budget, and we will offer the most optimal exhibition stands.

You can create not only standard information stands and boards with schedules, but also various thematic stands. For example, you can create educational stands - about labor protection, environmental protection, warning information stands, about fire safety, about school life, now it is very fashionable to make infographics and many more topics that can be displayed on a stand. You can involve school students in creating a stand; this will certainly captivate and unite them.

New Year is not only the most joyful holiday, it is also the most elegant. At this time, everything is transformed: streets, courtyards, hospitals, apartments, shops, kindergartens and schools. It is especially important to dress up the school, because no one looks forward to the New Year more than schoolchildren: it brings them not only the desired gifts, but also the holidays.

That is why the atmosphere here should be the most wonderful. Funds are not always allocated for New Year's decorations; parents of different classes have to organize everything on their own, which does not always make them happy. But not so long ago there was not so much purchased jewelry and such things were organized only thanks to improvised means and imagination.

How to decorate your school for the New Year? - Just. You can use everything that catches your eye: tinsel brought from home, postcards, colored cards, cotton wool, rain, even A4 paper is suitable for these purposes.

In this article:

Corridor decoration

To decorate the school for the New Year, including the corridors, you should involve the children. Children will happily take part in this event, especially primary schools, children from 1st to 5th grade.

First, have each student make a poster or poster at home and bring the product of their labors to school. Place voluminous crafts on window sills or place them in corners. Hang beautiful ones along all the walls, and you can also hang small decorations there.

Collect all the tinsel you have, sort it by color and decorate the top of the walls, organizing it into something reminiscent of an awning. Can be secured with tape or paper clips. The corridors will simply shine for the New Year.

Secondly, use everything you were planning to throw away. For example, if you have old tulle or gauze, do not rush to throw it away. You can do this with fabric: make beautiful waves and tie them with tinsel. The structure can also be placed anywhere: on the walls, under the windowsill and even under the ceiling. The ceiling itself is decorated with snowflakes or rain for the New Year. In a subject such as technology, a class teacher and students can cut out and glue a huge number of snowflakes, which are attached to the ceiling with a thread or safety pin.

New Year's glass

Today it is very fashionable to decorate glass with different winter-themed pictures. This could be the image of Santa Claus with his granddaughter, a forest, winter games and entertainment. Techniques such as “decoupage” are excellently used to decorate external glass.

"School Corridor"

School corridor...
Road to nowhere
Long as a gut
Smooth as a board.
School corridor...
Black hole,
Dark as a dead end
Scary, like a diary.
School corridor...
I'm running again
But the bell rings.
This is for a lesson.
School corridor...
I ran to the class,
He quickly entered the classroom,
And a diary on the table...

Indeed, if there is not a single child’s craft hanging on the school walls, and there are no flowers grown by the children on the windows, then it is unlikely that students will feel comfortable and joyful within the school walls.

“School is a second home”, “native school” - these are the sayings about an ideal school from the point of view of psychological comfort in it for participants in the educational process. We spend most of our time at school, and we want it to attract us with comfort and please the eye.

Renovations at the school are carried out annually. New stands have appeared on the second floor. A campaign to plant greenery on school window sills has started. Photos of native nature appeared on the walls.

And this school year, students of the creative association “Fantasy” decided to contribute to the aesthetic design of the school and decorate the window bays with their crafts. This is a great opportunity not only to decorate the school with your own hands, but also to show the results of the work of the direct participants in the educational process - the students. After all, many of them are talented!

Selecting a problem

First of all, we asked ourselves how exactly we want to change the aesthetic appearance of the corridors?

How do we imagine an ideal school corridor?
- Purity
- Friendliness of all participants in the educational process
- A lot of useful, accessible information at the stands

Well-groomed flowers (to please the eye)
- Children's work: crafts, drawings - a must! Guests of the school should see what the schoolchildren have learned, what talented children study in our school.

The problem was chosen by the students. The aesthetic condition of the school building needs to be improved. To find out how important the problem we are dealing with is, we have prepared several survey questions:

Do you like the aesthetic condition of our school corridor? Is there anything you would like to change about it?

Survey results: “Would you like to change something at school?”

2 School is your 2nd home. What kind of school would you like to see in the future?

What design ideas for decorating a school hallway would you suggest?

Results of the survey “What would you like to change in your school?”
