I. General information
Trade name: Eurican DHPPI 2 - LR (Eurican DHPPI 2 - LR).
International generic name: Vaccine against distemper, adenovirus, parvovirus, parainfluenza-2, leptospirosis and rabies in dogs.

Dosage form:
dry component (Eurican DHPPI 2)- lyophilized mass;
liquid component (Eurican-LR)- suspension for injection.

The dry component (Eurican DHPPI 2) is made from culture fluids of cell cultures infected with attenuated strains of canine distemper virus, adenovirus CAV 2, parvovirus and canine parainfluenza virus-2, with the addition of polypeptides (22.5 mg/dose) and glucids ( 77.5 mg/dose).
The liquid component (Eurikan-LR) is made from a suspension of leptospira serogroups Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae and Leptospira canicola, inactivated by thiomersal, glycoproteins of the rabies virus (strain G52), with the addition of aluminum hydroxide (0.6 mg) as an adjuvant.

By appearance the dry component is a dry homogeneous porous mass from beige to light yellow color, the liquid component is a colorless liquid with a white precipitate that forms a homogeneous suspension when shaken.
The components of the vaccine “Eurican DHPPI 2 - LR” are packaged in 1 immunizing dose (1 ml) in glass bottles of appropriate capacity. The bottles are hermetically sealed with rubber stoppers reinforced with aluminum caps.
Vials with vaccine components are packaged in plastic boxes of 10 or 50 immunizing doses. Each box of vaccine contains instructions for its use.

The shelf life of the vaccine is 24 months from the date of release, subject to storage and transportation conditions. After the expiration date, the vaccine is not suitable for use.

The vaccine is stored and transported in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 2 to 8°C. The vaccine cannot be frozen.

The vaccine should be stored out of the reach of children.

II. Biological properties

One immunizing dose (1 ml) contains at least 10 4.0 CCID 50 attenuated plague virus; at least 10 2.5 CCID 50 attenuated canine adenovirus (CAV 2); at least 10 4.9 CCID 50 attenuated canine parvovirus; not less than 10 4.7 CCID 50 attenuated canine parainfluenza virus type 2, inactivated Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae and Leptospira canicola; at least 1 IU of rabies virus glycoproteins (strain G52).

III. Application procedure
The vaccine is intended for immunization of dogs against distemper, infectious hepatitis, parvovirosis, parainfluenza-2, leptospirosis and rabies.

It is prohibited to immunize clinically sick and/or weakened animals, pregnant bitches after the first third of pregnancy. 10 days before vaccination it is necessary to deworm the dog.

Dogs are subject to vaccination starting at 12 weeks of age. The vaccine is administered subcutaneously once 3-5 weeks before or after the administration of the DHPPI2-L vaccine, in a dose of 1 ml, regardless of the body weight and breed of the dog.
Revaccination is carried out annually at the same dose.
When vaccinating, it is necessary to follow the rules of asepsis and antiseptics. Before use, the contents of the bottle with the liquid component are shaken and added to the bottle with the lyophilized component, mixed thoroughly until the dry component is completely dissolved. Sterile syringes and needles are used for vaccination.

Symptoms of plague, adenovirus, parvovirus, parainfluenza-2, leptospirosis and canine rabies or other pathological signs have not been established in case of an overdose of the vaccine.

DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
