Pigmentation disorders in lichen planus are more often diagnosed in adults. The virus infects the skin, nails, mucous membranes. The manifestations have a shiny surface, and in appearance resemble small knots. Their color is red, brown or bluish, have clear boundaries, while they can merge with each other. With such a disease, the patient feels very unwell, atrophy of the skin may occur, has severe itching. The main location of spots is inner part hips, elbows, lower leg, wrists, under the knee. The spots go away on their own after a few weeks, but may recur.

Treatment

Violation of pigmentation of the skin is often corrected by saturating your body with vitamins of group B, as well as C and PP. You may need to help the stains go off by applying special creams or ointments with a whitening effect, but a doctor should also prescribe them.

It is important that fresh fruits and vegetables are always present in the diet, but you will have to refuse “harmful” food, you also need to donate long stay under the influence of direct sunlight, and a visit to the solarium.

If pigmentation is associated with the presence of other diseases, then, first of all, it is necessary to conduct it complete treatment. And when recovery comes, it will be possible to solve the problem of skin spots. In case of pigmentation due to allergies, antihistamines are indicated.

If there are no medical contraindications and a threat of health deterioration, you can try to reduce age spots with a home-made scrub: take half a glass of iodized salt, 5 drops of citrus oil (lemon or orange), a teaspoon of cream. Everything is thoroughly mixed, and applied to the skin after thorough moisturizing. This is followed by peeling, and wash off the remnants of the mass from the skin. The procedure can be done no more than four times a week.
